Elizabeth Borough will move into the holiday season on Sunday, November 23rd, as the EADC hosts the annual Light-Up Elizabeth Boro Holiday Event from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The celebration will feature a full schedule of family-friendly activities throughout the town’s business district. The Holiday Market and local small businesses will be open all evening, accompanied by a community raffle and a variety of hands-on holiday crafts and activities.
The event begins with the 4:30 p.m. parade, followed by photos with Santa, carriage rides, and multiple activity stations, including ornament making, balloon art, face-painting, nativity displays, and candle making. Performances are scheduled throughout the evening, including the EF Marching Band at 5:00 p.m., Tribella’s Dance Studio at 5:30 p.m., Mon River Arts with a Rudolph-themed set at 6:00 p.m., and the Lisa DiGiorio School of Dance at 6:30 p.m.
The night will continue with the traditional tree lighting at 7:45 p.m.
A detailed event map (showed below) highlights small businesses, vendors, activity stops, and food trucks spread across Plum Street, Market Street, and the surrounding blocks. Food trucks—including Habachi Lou, Mr. Bulgoogi, Jo & Di’s Cravings, and others—will line the event area, while more than a dozen holiday vendors will offer crafts, gifts, local treats, jewelry, and handmade goods.
The EADC encourages residents to explore local shops, enjoy the entertainment, and celebrate the start of the holiday season together. A QR code on event materials links to additional information on the event’s Facebook group page.
